I came here for a consultation and I'm pretty sure that's all it took to decide that this man is the worst orthodontist out there. When I came in, I was greeted by the staff and they were fantastic.
I was called into the consultation room where I saw Dr. Nguyen e-mailing. His assistants didn't get the message through or there was some kind of misunderstanding because I stood in his doorway for a good 2 minutes before the assistant told me to sit back down. About 10 minutes later, he comes out to greet us. When I was in there he spoke to me in the most condescending way. He was so confident that I wouldn't understand what an overbite is, he gave me this explanation about what I thought it was and what it really is. I was a dental assistant for 2 years of my life but thanks for assuming that I have no knowledge about teeth. After an impersonal consultation he started making comments about ridiculous things that you don't talk about in a professional setting, like politics.
Overall, I'm so glad I didn't choose him. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I got an appointment at his office 2 days ahead when other offices can't fit me into the schedule for another month.
Also, he is the only person working at the place and I saw patients that waited for a good 30 minutes. That is a ridiculous waste of time.
Pros: clean office, friendly assistants
