Review content:
I recently moved from Santa Clara into Manhattan, and I knew I couldn't do it on my own even though I didn't have a ton of stuff. win van lines had good reviews, so I got a quote and decided to hire them. I only scheduled a week in advance, and they were really accommodating. In total, it cost me just over $1250 for two guys and a truck to move my things. They showed up right on time at 9 a.m. on a Saturday. I had everything packed beforehand, but they brought special boxes for my TV and lamps. It took them about 20 minutes to load up their truck and then we both left to meet them at my Manhattan apartment. When they arrived on the UWS, they immediately worked out a system for moving things up to my fifth-floor walk-up. I felt so bad for them because it was really hot out, but I decided to tip generously. They finished getting everything in my new apartment at 12:30 am One of the movers, Scott, was really friendly and made a lot of small talk. It made me feel comfortable with having him handling everything I own. I even saw him a few days later and he remembered me. It's hard to move these days, but these guys will make it fast, easy and relatively affordable.
