I needed to update my eyeglass prescription as I haven’t had an eye exam for about 6 years. So I decided to give the American Vision Center a try as it was about a block from my home. I was assigned to Dr. Rangel. I know that store was busy that day but as soon as I met with Dr Rangel it was as if he had as much time as I wanted. He described the eye charts and went over the photographs of my eye. He did a great job informing me about my vision and calmed me about my worries about a detached retina. What brought me to the eye doctor was a sudden floater that appeared in my left eye. Dr Rangel was very professional and went out of his way to answer questions and would often bring up stories of other patients who he had helped. Before I left the store I thanked him for all his help getting my eyes adjusted. I had a great experience with the doctor and I would highly recommend both his professionalism and how nicely others in the store treated me.\r
