Having nothing good in the fridge and being very hungry, my wife and I decided to order out. This was around 4:30 pm. We were debating whether to go with Chinese or order from Brothers 2. We had almost ordered from them in the past, but always ended up going with another choice. This time we decided to finally give them a try. We placed our order online, choosing two types of BBQ pork sandwiches and a spiedie. We got a confirmation email from them that said our food should be there in 60 minutes. Hmm, kind of a long time since we ordered before 5 o'clock and the food is pretty simple, but hey, we can probably live another hour without food. \r Then we sat hungrily watching TV, waiting for our food to arrive. Winter came and went, followed by spring. The 2008 election happened (no, I won't tell you who won). Civilizations rose and fell. Still no food. \r Around 6 pm (in the year 2718) we start to wonder if we should give them a call and ask what on earth is taking so long. My wife had to be at the hospital at 7 pm for the night shift she is on, so it was beginning to be a problem that we still had no dinner. Just then, we get a call. It's from Brothers 2! They still hadn't even started our order and wanted to know if we still wanted it since it had been so long. I asked how much more time it would be. ""Oh, not long at all. All our food is very fast to make."" So why did you say it would take an hour in the first place, I wonder to myself. At that point I should have cut our losses and made some ranch and maraschino cherry pitas from the fridge, but instead I said ""yeah, we still want it."" \r Then we went back to hungrily watching TV...\r Finally, sometime after 6:30, they arrive with the food. The delivery person has no pen, so we have to get our own to sign the credit card receipt. The food is warmish at best and scattered about the trays. The buns are stale. The meat is dry and burned. Overall, we both agreed it was the worst food we have eaten in NY. Pros: The food has caloric content that will keep you alive Cons: Delivery takes hours, food is not fresh, food tastes bad.
