I'm a local real estate agent in Utah, and I try close all my transactions at Equity Title. I happen to know that they are a straight up, competent, and a legit title company that is nationally known. If you were disastifed about equity title it probably was becuase your lender or agent was trying to place blame on them for thier own screw up. Besides the last post was probably written from another title company that just is snooping to low levels to try to get business. If you want someone who could be involved in fraud and ponzi schemes with your money, then use another title company, or you can do the smart thing and use the competent big dog such as Equity Title before your little title company owners skip to mexico with all the millions of dollars of escrow money that is supposed to be used for your home purchase.
