Businiess name:  Goldener Hirsch Inn

Review content:
We recently ate here on a summer evening, and rediscovered what may be the best restaurant in Utah. Apparently, the Hirsch brought on a fabulous new executive chef last fall who was trained at the best restaurants in New York and France and he turns out a very special evening up in Silver Lake. I saw the earlier review on this site, but from the date on it, it must have been written last summer, when I'm told they had a temporary chef not up to their usual standard, while awaiting the arrival of the permanent chef they have now. The food on our night was not just among the best in Utah, it was truly world class, and in a romantic, European setting. Definitely worth a special trip. Pros: world class food, romantic setting Cons: distance from SLC
