I have been coloring my hair for 3+ years. I just got so tired of going to a salon every 2-3 weeks. I have gray roots. I went to a salon for years, experimented with different colors, but no matter what it was still 2-3 weeks to do the roots. I got so tired of going. So I started doing it myself. Very convienent and way cheaper. But over time it got too dark and started drying out and was dull, except for 3-4 days right after the color. I have fine hair and it is getting a little thinner, as I passed 45. So I researched salons and found this one. I went for a consult with William...he asked about my concerns and what I wanted and suggested a course. I told him the issues I had with going so often and it making my hair worse. He suggested , and this is what I did today...hi-lites, very subtle, and also just lighten the rest a little. He also did a kertain treatment . You don't have to do this, but I am glad I did (85.00 including take home shampoo and conditioner). My hair feels like it is brand new. 125 for the coloring/ highlights. I love it. It is a great color with lights that are not too obvious. Shiny and great. So, in 2 weeks the thing is ""express"" this is supposed to do your roots, takes 30 minutes, I scheduled that and will leave with it wet and so not spend too much time there. William said that will take care of my roots without damage and I can color and/or highlight at 2-3 months. All Paul Mitchell products, which I have always used and like. So, I have never been so happy with my hair after I left a salon as I am today. Will post about the ""express"" after I have that done.
