Review content:
Tahoe Whitewater tours gave us absolutely horrible service last weekend and I'd like to share that experience with other people. I booked (and confirmed) a kayaking trip for 5 adults with them last Sunday. We showed up to learn they had cancelled our trip, supposedly due to city-planned duck races on the river, and made no effort to contact us. We'd driven an hour to get to them. The manager in charge was rude and dismissive, and we believe dishonest about the reason for our cancellation -- it appeared he had just rented out all his equipment despite our confirmed reservation with him. He claimed to know nothing about our reservation, but when we looked at the front desk, we were right there in his book!\r
We ended up taking a similar trip with a different company that same day (which suggests the activities on the river were not the cause of the cancellation). All around a terrible experience with Tahoe Whitewater Tours. Avoid them.
Pros: good website
Cons: cancelled without notice, rude manager
