We initially used Dave Smith, Craftbuilt, to remodel our kitchen over 6 years ago. He did such a wonderful job and his estimate was right on. We decided if we ever built a house he would be the builder. \r The time came and we contracted Dave to build. Never before have we met anyone who went above and beyond to do right by us. We spent weeks on coming together to determine what the best floorplan was for our growing families wants and needs. Dave worked diligently on making certain changes that would make big dollar amount differences in our favor, as well as allowing us to work on certain things in the house as long as it didn?t impact his timelines. When everyone else seemed to be out to totally squeeze every dollar out of their customers, he worked to find ways to cut costs while still maintaining high quality product. There were a couple times that he worked with my husband Chris, until one o?clock in the morning, on the installation of our kitchen cabinets. I do not know any other builder or person for that matter that would have went out of their way as much as you did to help and get things done. Of course there were time line delays due to weather and various things that were out of your control, however, it was how he treated the situation and followed through that made certain pain points in the process more manageable. \r In the course of the two years we lived in the house, we had him come back for one nail pop- IN TWO YEARS- that was it. Unfortunaltey, the house we built as our forever house, had to be sold due to relocation for my job. The people who purchased our home of course wanted a home inspection. After their home inspector completed his six hour inspection, he reported back, he had never encountered in the 20 years he had been doing inspections, what he did in our home. There was not one thing he found in the inspection that needed to be addressed. It was a perfect inspection! He commented on what a well built, quality home it was. WOW!\r \r Pros: GREAT JOB
