My husband and I ate at this restaurant on our way through monterey. It looked promising, as the views were amazing and the restaurant was directly on the water. However, the food was far less than impressive. We ordered the clam chowder (the high point of the meal) and it was good. My husband ordered the Mahi Mahi in lemon butter sauce, he said it had no flavor what so ever. I had the Hoppers combo, which was a variety of fried calamari, fish, and shrimp. The calamari and shrimp were completely flavorless. The one very small piece of fish tasted as if it was not only beer battered but like it had been soaking in beer for a week.\r \r The service had good intentions but servers did not speak much english so asking them about the menu proved to be quite a challenge. I would not waste my time at this establishment again unless it was for drinks while overlooking the water. Pros: view Cons: flavorless food, non english speaking wait staff, too pricey for the experience
