I moved to Houston in 2003. Since then I have used the Medical Clinic of Houston. Over the years I have felt the doctors becoming less interested in treating patients and more interested in big pharmaceutical. Rather than being prescribed generic anti-biotics my doctor proscribed me with $70 pills.. I changed to a new doctor within the clinic, which was also a mistake. I should have stopped going long ago, but being a creature of habit and rather busy I didn't. For the last 6 months I have been trying to get the claims department to re-file a claim which they coded incorrectly. Not only are the staff rude, they are useless. I am looking into what recourse I can take against them now seeing as they continue to waste my time. I would never recommend going here, especially given the array of qualified and professional health care providers Houston has to offer. I should also say that I never leave comments, but my treatment here has been SO bad that I cannot stand the thought of someone else dealing with this place.
