Review content:
I use city search constantly to find the best there is in Texas. I have never felt compelled to write a review until tonight. We took our family of 5 out to eat and by chance found El Chico. We were greeted at the door by both manager and staff . They were genuinely happy to see us and the other customers who arrived. The manager was especially personable and came by our table more than once to make sure we were enjoying our experience. He did this with each and every customer . Our waitress Ashley was the best quick and efficient , she anticipated all our needs. Also personable and never stopped smiling! Our sons ages 1,4,9 were cranky and impatient , Miss Ashley supplied them with crayons and color pages, and some tortilla dough to use as play dough. They cheered right up it was the first fun meal we have had with them dining out. The food was excellent ! I recommend the enchiladas platter the chicken spinach was top notch. The chicken fajitas are terrific as well. They have a kids menu as well as one for big amigos. If you get the chance try the chip and dip appetizers. The portions were large .Our dinner was served fast fresh and hot! The menu prices are very reasonable and within the budget of even large families. We were surprised to see that their wasn't more customers there . Maybe it's the location . If you like Mexican and you havn't tried it your missing out. \r
