Review content:
Sky Sushi has just opened a Roseville location the first week in November, 07', located on the corner of Pleasant Grove blvd and Foothills, behind the Arco Station, ""not the best location"". My wife and I have been big Sushi eaters for years, and have eaten at ""Sky"" three or four times since its opening. We enjoy the great decor and great service, from ""Danny"", the host, and ""Toby"" the Chef, as well as the servers. But most important, is that the fish is the freshest we have tasted in a Japanese restaurant, and close to our home in Roseville. Maybe it's because they get their fish fresh from ""True World"" instead of ""Pacific Seafood"", like most the Sushi places in the area. But I noticed they didn't seem hide the flavor of the fish by drowning the rolls in too many fancy sauces and dressings. The seafood salad is prepared in a simple Orange and Basil sause, and yet it is delicious. I personal like the scallop hand rolls, but my wife enjoyed the Red Dragon and God Father Rolls. They also have some specials, not on the menu, such as a BBQ shrimp dish and fried scallops, so don't be afraid to ask about their special recommendations. \r \r Probably because it is so new and hard to see from the street it is not yet overly crowded at easy to get a table. Pros: Taste of food, easy to get seated and served because it is new. Cons: Location, hidden from view of the street, so most people don't know it's there.
