Review content:
I felt so happy when I walked in this restaurant and sat down. The staff there was very friendly. The inside was very pleasant and I did not have to put up with loud music.\r
\r
I ordered coffee, meatloaf, mashed potatoes/w gravy and bean salad. The meatloaf was the best I ever tasted which was even better than my own. And I really like the gravy. The bean salad was excellent too, food that you would find in the finest restaurants. \r
However, the mashed potatoes weren’t good at all and I only ate the part that had the gravy on them. If Uncle Smiley's is going to serve such wonderful food otherwise, they need to change the brand of their instant mashed potatoes to Hungry Jack (the best in my opinion), Better Crocker or some other high quality mash potato flakes. However, the frozen kind is just like home made from fresh potatoes. \r
\r
I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't stand those things they call mashed potatoes, so do us a favor and buy something better, even if you have to add a little more money to the bill.\r
