For me, real coffeehouse culture requires four things - Good coffee, late hours, friendly staff, and comfortable third-place atmosphere.
I couldn't have created a better coffeehouse than the Wayward if I had tried. With more electrical boxes than my last apartment, it's easy to find somewhere to plug in the laptop, check the email off their free wi-fi, and enjoy the best damn dry cappacino I've ever had. No, really, it's like drinking a velvety cloud. A cappacino that good should be a sin.
And it's late hours make it a natural home-base for your exploration of a fascinating and re-invigorated neighborhood.
Check it out and I bet you won't go anywhere else.
