Review content:
Sometimes you just find a restaurant that maybe doesn't look nice outside (next door to Dunkin Donuts) BUT LOOKS ARE DECIEVING!! The inside of Puket Cafe is decorated like a place in Thailand. I brought a friend and his girl to Puket Cafe right after they returned from Thailand. He was blown away with how authentic it looked and how wonderful the food was. Very Very similar to the food he had in Thailand. Best things to get if you don't like spicy-- they will tone it down for you or you can have it so hot you want to die.--I always ask for no spice. Funny tummy ya know. Like I said Pad Thai best I ever had ( I ve gotten it with beef and another time with shrimp and chicken.) The Thai iced tea, excellent. I did'nt care for the crab rangoon. I don't know, the chinese ones are best. The pineapple rice is very good. The tom ka kai is soup. It is my fav by far of any soup. Be careful not to order the sausage and mango salad unless you like spice. The mango salad is very spicy. good but spicy. Everytime I go I try to order something different. For dessert, you have to get the mango and sticky rice. It's going to get you hooked. You will be day dreaming about the food if you only eat there once, trust me I did. I did some snooping, I peeked in the kitchen, It was sooooo clean, I swear I couldn't believe it. I work in a kitchen and I have never seen such organization and cleanlyness. This restaurant is almost perfect. I say almost because they have no CHOCOLATE!!!! that's ok, the mango and sticky rice makes up for it. Now I can't wait to go back. The restaurant is equal in price to the area restaurants, and you get plenty to share. 1 order of pad thai fed 3 people. The wait staff is excellent, friendly and will teach you to do the little oragami things they do to the straws. Its so fun. Well I hope you have as good a time as I always do there. ENJOY! Pros: ample parking in the rear of building. well lit, handicapped accessable. ambience galore!! Cons: Outside in front of building not so nice, shared with Dunkin Donuts. windows are tinted so looks closed or dark but it's not.
