I would not reccomend Hampden Fuel Oil due to the unprofessionalism of the employees. The owner Norman Turnburg was extrememly rude when I was told I was going to receive oil due to almost being completely out and he never came. His secretary told me she would have someone out that day and that they would bill us. At 6:00pm that night we still had no oil. We had run out and my house was cold. I called Hampden Fuel and was told no one would be out tonight and that I was never told that they would be there that day. I explained that I was told otherwise but he argued with me. Then he said have a nice ""cold"" night"". He called the next morning to say he would be here for oil and that he would not bill me even though I was told they would. I had to take it out of important bill money to pay him in order to be warm. What kind of heartless people run this company?? I think they feel they can get away with anything because of their name, but anyone who really knows them knows what kind of people they are!! Call a REAL oil company if you want reliable service for your money.
