I, too, cannot believe someone would give SubPort a bad review!
Look you guys ... this is not a subway or blimpie! This is a wonderful, established, and INDEPENDENT sub shop, selling Jersey style hoagies. Okay, so not everyone is from Jersey, I'm a Philly girl myself, but what you have to understand is the simplicity of toppings is what it's all about -- the flavor of the fresh cut meats, cheeses, and bread ... and if you are a true hoagie fan, a good italian hoagie only needs lettuce, tomato, onion, vinegar and oil - and maybe some hot peppers if you like a kick in your seat!
My only regret with subport is that I now live in Gibsonton and they are located in Carrollwood!! If I lived closer I would be there at least 3 times a week.
Really, if you want precut, portioned, and packaged a week ago corporate meat and veggies, go to subway ... if you want the best thing south of Jersey ... GO TO SUBPORT!!! :)
Pros: Super Authentic!
