Review content:
I have two dancers at Miller Street Dance Academy and I couldn't be happier with our experience there. Unlike a few other dance schools I visited, their costumes and dance moves are both age-appropriate and modest. The instructors are all experienced in working with children and create a warm, safe classroom environment that gives me peace-of-mind.
MSDA offers sibling discounts and a sliding scale that makes taking multiple classes (as your child grows in dance) affordable. There is a clear communication of all costs involved from the first day of registration.
This past year my oldest daughter joined the MSDA competition team and our experience has been fantastic here as well. I had some trepidation about scheduling and the intensity level of competition. While the Miller Street Team has posted very impressive results this season, the bigger rewards for my daughter have been the friendships and confidence she has gained as a part of the team. The owner of the studio emphasizes values such as teamwork, confidence and respect in all her dancers but especially in those representing Miller Street at the competitive level. What a pleasure to have found a youth sport that holds values in high esteem.
I highly recommend checking out MSDA if you are considering dance classes for your child.
Pros: Conservative, kid-friendly atmosphere, experienced staff
Cons: Can get crowded during peak times of day
