Review content:
After missing a traditional Sunday brunch at a nearby hotel, we headed over to Bobby's, figuring to have some barbeque instead. Upon arriving, we found that they too, have a brunch-- but not your ordinary brunch. The buffet featured the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, and biscuits & gravy. But then you will find chorizo & eggs, machaca & eggs, fixings for soft tacos- beef, pork, and chicken, rice and beans, guacamole, and salsa. The coup de grace, however, is the barbeque section. There we found pork ribs, tri tip, chicken, and a phenomenal brisket. This is some of the best barbeque in the area. They did have a mixed green salad in case you feel the need (we didn't). Dessert was a bit thin, with peach cobbler and churros for the sweet tooth. I felt like having a bowl of menudo or albondigas, but since they don't have either, I had more of the tri tip and brisket. The barbeque is their focus-- they do it well and replenish it frequently. This was a great brunch experience and warrants a trip back to sample the rest of the menu. Pros: Great food, friendly service, excellent value! Cons: Only one salad, no fruit, no pancakes or waffles... but who really cares?
