I originally visited Criallos in late 2002, early 2003 - at that time it was a nice restaraunt. We visitied again in late summer of 2004...they have evolved. While I would not classify my earlier visits as negative, the ""new"" Criallos is much improved. The bar is wonderful, the service impeccable and the food well prepared and presented. It has now become a weekly sit at the bar, relax with a drink and then have dinner. They also have a light jazz ensemble 4+ nights a week that is very nice - try it!\r

we were here back in January and decided to go again Friday night. we loved the meal. I had a wonderful blue cheese stuffed filet and my wife had a very nice seared tuna. service was great. the food was wonderfully prepared and the light jazz made everything even better. we started with an appetizer - oysters on the half shell - they had been shucked earlier and put in the chiller - they were ok but when they are prepared that way, they tend to dry out. the salads were excellent - I recommend the caprise. entrees great and key lime just enough to finish. the coffee ended a very nice meal. if you haven't tried this place -- what are you waiting on?
