Review content:
The group of 8 that I was with was referred to Fish Tails in Galveston for dinner. After a day at the beach we went to make our evening reservations. We decided while we were there to go ahead and get an appetizer before we headed to the hotel to get ready for dinner. My husband and I ordered fried calamari and noticed after a while that there was a fly fried one of the pieces. We called the server over who said he would get the manager. The manger came over and we stated that we hated to complain, but there was a fly in the food. He quickly responded ""These dang flies are bad aren't they"" and grabbed the plate and walked off with NO APOLOGY. The group seriously considered canceling the reservations for later that evening. But after much discussion we decided that we give it a try for dinner. I vowed to not have anything fried and I did not. The food was okay, but the service was horrible. Food came out at different times, crab was over cooked and very difficult to get out of the shell and all the checks were incorrect. I know they were busy, but the service at this restaurant really is horrible. I gave it a second chance and that is it. I won’t return.
