Review content:
A friend of mine recommends this cake shop and I went to see and meet the people. My initial visit went well (discussed price, design etc). Since they didn’t have the cakes I was looking for to sample, I scheduled a follow on appoint. When I arrived for my follow on appoint, the owner was gone and her husband was there. I did arrive 15min late but since she told me any time before 2 was okay, I thought she would be there. I explained to the husband what I was there for and asked if his wife has left the samples with him and that I would like to do the tasting. I believe at this point, he called his wife and I am not exactly sure what they conversation was like but he came back really irritated from the phone call and proceeded to tell us that he doesn’t need our business, he is booked until October and asked us to leave the shop. Because my friend and I were not sure exactly what happened, we tried to ask him why he was asking us to leave and at that point he started raising his voice and escorted us to the door. I have never been so humiliated in my life. He has ever right to ask us to leave and not do business with us but to yell and escorted us out the door with no explaining is uncalled for. I wouldn’t buy a cake from these people if they were the last cake place on earth.
