Review content:
We brought our cat into the practice numerous times and dropped a lot of money just to find out (from a credible vet) that our cat had health problems (tumors and a heart issue) that should have been noticed by at least one of the vets at Post Road. The new vet that we went to see, shortly after Post Road, did a physical and found problems that needed to be addressed immediately: our new vet was mystified as to why the issues were not noticed by the prior vets.
When I spoke to Post Road, their response was that they either ""just missed the issues with our cat"" or they did not exist at the time they did two separate physicals. The health issues had been brewing for a long time and they should have been discovered right away by the vets at Post Road, according to our new vet. Our cat's health issues did not occur overnight!
As a pet owner, What do you think? I think this is totally unacceptable care.
Every time we brought our animal in, we saw a different vet. They were quick to take our credit card; however, they did not offer to help me after I notified them that they had missed major health problems that were discovered by another vet (within minutes of the physical and right in front of me). The new vet actually let me feel the tumors that were easily detectable on my cat but totally missed at Post Road.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this practice.
In summary, the reasons to stay away from Post Road are:
-totally inadequate care
-the practice does not assign one vet to your pet so you will get different answers to your pet's health concerns,, from different vets, at each visit
-they are very pricey, compared to the vet we see now
-they were unwilling to compensate me for totally inadequate care (once I brought it to their attention)
So, don't even consider this practice if you care about your pet's health.
