We drive to Shreveport for SOUTHERN MAID DONUTS. We run around town waiting for 4 pm and HOT fresh dripping sugared doughnuts. We eat in the car. We are pigs about the doughnuts and we know it. Yes, we have southern maid shops in our state but NOT HOT FRESH DELICIOUS MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DOUGHNUTS!! Cheap for a dozen. Won't keep for breakfast. May as well eat them all. Enjoy!!
Pros: Always fresh and hot after 4 pm.
Cons: Crowds and tight parking due to return customers
