Review content:
I was delighted to try Bella Cucina last year when it first opened. It?s sandwiched between businesses in a non-descript business area and you?d hardly notice it unless you knew it was there (though it sits on busy Soledad).\r
\r
It?s a fairly small restaurant in a single (noisy or cozy, depending on your spin) room. The food is really, really good. The garlic knots are yummy as is the salad and the entrees are really authentic. It tastes homemade.\r
\r
I?ve tried a few different things over the past year and haven?t been disappointed with anything except the desserts. On my next visit, I will still have my decaf cappuccino but till skip the desserts; tiramisu was too bland and too full of whipped cream. \r
\r
Wine selection is nice and the menu has enough variety to keep it interesting. Prices are very reasonable and the place has always been packed when my husband and I have gone.\r
\r
I really hope this business makes it; it?s nice to see the little guy thrive in a world of dog-eat-dog mega-mergers. \r
Pros: Authentic Italian food, good wine
Cons: It can be crowded
