Review content:
I have had great meals in my life. This dinner was added to the roster. I went there as a recommmendation from a friend, of a friend, from her friend's friend etc. The first time we tried to get reservations it was packed. We couldn't get a table.Even though I tried to slip the host some cash, he didn't budge. We went back the following week with a reservation. The choices of victuals and nourishment were mouthwatering. The atmosphere was definitely smokey room Las Vegas. I asked for the owner Ronnie, also the chef with a long Boston Back bay restaurant past. I think I'll say it was better than Mistral.\r
A month or so later we took my 9 and 13 yr old for desserts it was an early Thurs. evening. The piano singer was great. The 9 yr old asked for a song from Rent. The player didn't know any( at least he was honest). He did play Piano Man by Billy Joel per my 9yr old's request. Needless to say we were all thrilled. I think the raspberry mousse cake won out over the cheesecake...but then again there was the pecan tart and apple turnover...Go Go Go!..
Pros: Food, atmosphere, music, attentiveness, intimacy, kids were very welcomed for dessert
Cons: waitstaff(not professional)
