Review content:
Fung Wong was an experience to say the least. To say more, it was a terrible experience. Not being familiar with the Clinton area, and craving some Chinese food, a business colleague and I scourged the community to find some food to curve our appetite. Upon finding Fung Wong, we were surprised to see that the location of the restaurant was in fact, a man's house. In addition, they had a bar area, where their beer was in a refrigerator. The host was a delightful, jolly, rotund man who was willing to help us. When we placed our order, he proceded to tell us ""We don't make that"" approximately three times as we listed options off the menu. After placing an order that was worth about 40 dollars, it was not a good sign when he said all the food would be ready in 5 minutes. I had the chicken fingers, fried rice, egg roll and wonton soup. The soup had vegetables in it to feed a giant, and had floating chunks of pork on the top. The fried rice was drenched in soy sauce and must've been deep fried as it came out pitch black. But the egg roll takes the cake. It was the size of a brick. It was as if a man stuffed cabbage and shredded pork pieces into a sock, and then placed into a deep frier at 1080 degrees for 4 days. Despite our delightful experience with the kind host, the food was abysmal and he gave us terrible directions back to our mountain man retreat.
Pros: Lovable Host
Cons: The restaurant is a house!
