I was already a faithful user of the Avon's first Clinical product, Anew Clinical Line and Wrinkle Corrector Cream. Since I love what the cream has done for my appearance, I didn’t hesitate to buy Deep Crease.
I’m 36 and, though I had a facelift over 15 years ago, I’m quite unhappy with the lines of expression re-asserting themselves on my forehead, between my eyes and around my mouth.
The saleslady explained that Deep Crease contains the same skin “rebuilding” amino polypeptides as the cream, but in addition it has botanical extracts that cause temporary paralysis of the subcutaneous facial muscles. She also said the effects are cumulative up to about two months. Thereafter, the maximum improvement will be maintained as long as you continue to use the product.
She instructed me to put one or two drops in the palm of my hand; then using the index finger of my other hand, to smooth the serum over my expression lines in an upward motion. She said not to use it on the rest of my face, because the added botanical ingredient would be wasted where it would have no effect. But I found that the serum spreads so far, no matter how small a drop I put in my palm, I have enough left over to cover the rest of my face. I figure that’s better than wiping it off my hand and throwing it out! So I settled on a routine of the cream in the p.m. (instead of morning and night) and Deep Crease in the morning
Now that I’ve used it daily for over two months, I have to say frankly that I was a bit disappointed. I guess my expectations were too high after the dramatic improvement I experienced with the first Clinical product. However I will continue to use Deep Crease because it does relax the muscles a little bit and the effect lasts most of the day. I’m not even vaguely interested in Botox injections. Why? Cost, safety concerns and fear of needles.
Now will someone please invent a cream to erase my “turkey neck”! Pretty soon I’ll have to start wearing turtlenecks all the time.
