This past weekend, we had the opportunity to attend a wedding reception at the Olde Dutch Restaurant and the only way I can describe the food is phenomenal! Carol, the Banquet Manager, was organized, efficient and personable. I don't know if the chicken, the ham or the mashed potatoes were the best - they were all so good, I can decide! A few days earlier, we took the time to eat at the buffet upstairs and it was good food and good atmosphere. However, for the reception, the atmosphere was fantastic - beautiful wood and glass, nice decorations and a wonderful ""mood"" for a wedding reception. Then, when we filled our plates and went back to the table and started eating, I just didn't want to stop!! I can only suggest if someone is looking for a reception/banquet hall - don't forego the Olde Dutch Restaurant just because it doesn't sound like the place to have a reception. With Carol in charge, you won't get any better!!
