Over a year ago I hired Hatcher's Upholstery to reupholster a couch, chair and ottoman. I went into the establishment and found a very large selection of upholstery. I looked to the owner for a recommendation as I have pets and wanted something that wouldn't attract the hair. I spent over $1800 and now have furniture that looks very cheap, is ripping at the seams, attracts everything but the kitchen sink and was upholstered in a manner that shrunk the cushions and pillows and now they no longer fit the couch. It is a constant battle to clean the hair and I can never get it fully clean. The job was over a month late and then he raised the price from his original quote. I have been trying to work with Mike, the owner, for over a year His last promise was he would call me November 19, 2008 and to date I have not heard from him. I must now find someone to do the job right and am out over $1800. That was an expensive lesson to learn.

Cons: Very unreliable, worst experience I ever had, raised price after work was done
