Review content:
It is often difficult to be objective when things have not been exactly to your liking. However, I will try to be as objective as I can. My family and I are moving out of Abbey Church Village not because it was poorly managed, on the contrary, but because a better opportunity presented itself. Our experience was not horrible but not fantastic either. For example: The neighbors are often inconsiderate. Doors are slammed at 5:00 in the morning or kids are running on the stairs at first light. Kids play in the drive way and refuse to move for approaching cars. I think the idea of digging through trash to see who is leaving it on the ground is an unsavory practice for any business regardless of your intent. Overall, the residence is adequately managed to suit its intended purpose. The grounds were kept clean (for the most part) and management responded to any problems that came up. Would I recommend Abbey Church Village? It really depends on what you are looking for and your economic situation. This is more about getting what you pay for than it is about a true living experience. Most of the residents have no intention or lack the ability to leave. The apartments are too small for a family and yet somehow many still live there. If you need a roof over your head for a little while, then yes, I would recommend this apartment complex. If you are looking for a permanent residence, then no, keep looking.
Pros: it is close to many features of the city without being in the city
Cons: there are a lot of people that are unfamiliar or unliking of American culture.
