I have been to quite a few salons, one in Manhattan, three in the Hudson Valley, and I have finally found the right one. What a pleasure as soon as you walk in the door of Revelations. Toni is kind and professional and she does her best to make you feel at home. I felt like I had known her for years and I just met her this morning. Her salon is beautiful, I was almost afraid to sit down, but it is also very comfortable. There are no ammonia smells and the coloring ingredients she uses don't have any odor at all. She offers you cookies and coffee. Most salons I have been too make you feel like you are a number. They can't remember what you want done with your hair and seem to be too busy for their clients. Toni takes the time to sit with you and do a consult regarding exactly what you want done. Her apprentice, Tom, also cut my 3-year-old daughter's hair and was so kind and gentle. I hate to call him an apprentice because that causes one to think he wasn't professional, but he was and very well trained. Thanks to both Toni and Tom. They also had some nice, warm, friendly clients that came in while I was getting finished up. What nice people. I just had a cut this time, but will be going back for a coloring this weekend. I have finally found my salon!!!
