this place was awful. from the moment i got there the staff was rude and very unprofessional! My boyfriend and I took our 8 week old puppy there and when we were in th exam room waiting for the Vet to come in we overheard the girl at the front desk saying to the vet that we were a young couple and she thought we had money issues. I know we should have left right at thapoint but we justwanted to see what was wrong with our baby. Our puppy was dianosed with parvo and of course we were going to spend the money to get him the treatment he needed. Howeverthe vet kept saying to us that they were about to close and we needed to hurry up and decide what we wanted to do. We decided to take him to my moms pet hospital where they saved one of her puppies from the same disease. Since my puppy was dehydrated the vet was going to give my puppy fluids so we could drive him to the other hospital. However she did not give him fluids stating she could not get the IV in him. She instead gave my 4lb dehydrated puppy a pain injection and his heart stopped beating. The lady from the front desk came back in the exam room and I asked wht was taking so long and she said everything was fine that it was jus a long process but that they were almost finished. It was like they were tryingto cover up what they had done to my little pupp. Minutes later they came in and said tha my puppy didnt make it. When I went in to say my goodbyes the vet herself was crying. to me, not only is that unprofessional but also a huge sign to me that she screwed up. At this point I was far too emotional to even realize what was gong on therefor I could not ask any of the questions racing through mymind. I wrote them a check for the $500 and still left without my puppy who was notbout to die before i took him to this place. he was sick, but not dying. A couple days later when I was a little more coherent I started calling other pet hospitals to ask questions and not to my surprise they all said mypuppy probablly stopped breathing because he was most likely overdosed with pain meds. The first thing my puppy needed was fluids nota pain injection. \r I was advised to contactthe vet board and stop payment on my check until further investigation. Surprisingy, I cancelled the check and a week later the hospital contacted me to pick up my puppys ashes that were creamated and still to this day, over a month later they have not called me about the cancelled check. To me, another reason Iknow they areguilty. Because of the comments we overheard them saying I truely believe these people are not only unethical but they did not give my puppythe treatment he needed becausetheythought we didnt have the money to get him the treatment he needed, which we did. Also, it was close to closing time and she wanted to go home, but I trusted her as a professional and she should have been more careful.\r I really would not recommed this place to anyone who cares about there pet. Pros: it was close to my house Cons: everything
