""Doesn't Recommend"".... that's a bit of the understatement and doesn't completely reflect my experiences at that place or convey my feelings toward this ""operation"" (one cannot possibly call it a business). Basically, my experience had been a duplicate of that deenoree had at this place. The part ""magically"" increased in price from the phone quote to the time I got there. The place looks the same as etcengineer described, this being well over a year earlier, and that in itself may even be OK if that's the way they want it, it just doesn't say anything good about their respect for the customer. What is however not OK is to gouge your customers based of the fact that they have spend their time and money to get there and are not likely to want to go back emptyhanded. This ""operation"" appears to prey on the desperate and/or broke so if you are one of them stay away or you will get hurt. Everybody else, you'll still be better off taking your business elsewhere. An example of gouging at North Imports Auto Parts: today they advertise coolant (the one they drain from junkers) for $5/gal ... also today (Dec 8, 2012) @ Menards the same thing is $3.97, new Peak coolant in sealed container, source: their printed weekend ad. A word of advice for North Imports Auto Parts ... you may think you have us, your customers, over the proverbial barrel, but we'll vote with our feet and stop coming. Go ahead and indulge on that overpriced coolant of yours ... cheers!
