Businiess name:  Angelo's Italian Kitchen

Review content:
This fairly new local place is an eat-in pizzeria with a few tables and home cooked Italian food. We needed home cooked eats tonight and thought to go there because it is sort of like sitting in Mamma's kitchen. The sauce on their pizza is excellent and on their parmagianna dishes as well. I ordered the eggplant parm which is the best way for me to rate their quality. Though a tiny bit of oil flavor permeated the fried eggplant, it was crunchy through the sauce and cheese which made it one of the best I have had in ages. Their hot crispy bread is a highlight since so many pizza places serve stale, cold bread with frozen butter. It is truly a family affair with the mom and pop in the kitchen and the daughter serving tables. They do delivery as well, though I do not know how far they are willing to go. This was my second time there as I like to give new places a while to establish a routine in their kitchens as well as hone up their recipes for the public before leaving a review. My only caveat is that their bathroom requires a walk through their immaculate kitchen. That, to me, signifies a lack of funds right now to make the much needed change. Strangers should not be going through the kitchen where food is prepared. The clientele varies and people watching is fun, even if for dinner time... a perfect example was the bearded lady who sat next to us at another table. When can we expect to have real bathroom facilities? I dont know. BUT, hopefully it is on their agenda. In the mean time, use the john BEFORE heading out to eat. ENJOY A GREAT MEAL and wash up when you get home. :-) MANGIA BELLO! Elskabar
