Review content:
After a recent review in teh Rocky Mountain News, we decided to try this place one last time. What a mistake!
The bakery/cafe is terrible. Some of the worst pastries. Old, dry, and that nasty acrid taste from too much baking powder. Shame they lost their original pastry chef.
Still can't seem to get foie gras cooked properly here. Surly staff. Overpriced wines, if they even remember to get them to the table. Over-brined porkchops. Gritty overcooked brulee as a side. It would be nice if some of the ingred. actually showed up on the plate. Buffalo came over-cooked and tough. Just too many things wrong and not enough right. Dry, tough crepes. Mealy cinnamon maple (?) ice cream and undercooked fruit crisp. Try wiping the plates at least.
This place had some potential, but it hasn't improved a bit. Just not worth the price!
Cons: overpriced, sloppy execution, dated food/presentati
