It was late January 2005 when two house guests from out of town came in and wanted to dine at a ""special"" restaurant. We suggested August for the occasion, and made reservations for six of us. It was downhill from there. It should be noted that the restaurant was not crowded that evening. We ordered cocktails before dinner, which were slow in being delivered. For whatever reason, it appeared that the waiters were completely disinterested in this table. The entrees were rather small (nouvelle cuisine ?) and nothing special flavorwise. The price was certainly not commensurate with the quality. All in all, a very disappointing evening!
