Review content:
We stayed in the Jacuzzi suit and found the room to be on par with any first rate Hotels. The service was top notch but we took time to make our reservation and studied the inn as all rooms are not created equal. The Boiler room restaurant was reasonably priced and had outstanding food. The building is under constant renovation but the owners are keeping the nostalgia on the inn alive. The owners are care takers of this magnificent piece of history and take pride in the hotel as well as its history. The spa was relaxing and the staff was very professional. I feel sorry for the other couple that had a bad night but from our experience this would be the exception not the rule. If you would like a weekend get away within 50 minutes of St Louis this is something hard to beat.
Pros: Historic hotel with reasonable prices
Cons: No phones in room if you call that a con.
