Love the Sorrento Hotel Bar and Fireside Room. Came here for a party, and was blown away by the beauty of the hotel. Great setup for mingling and walking around.\r

I noticed they had a book about the history of the Sorrento Hotel and as I was flipping through it, it talked about the fabulous view from the bar. so I asked the staff if there was a bar/restaurant upstairs as well. They explained that the bar and dining room used to be upstairs (and it sounds like an amazing view) but that because of the fire code they had to move the kitchen to the main floor. Wished I could have been here during the time when the bar had a view, but it's still gorgeous!
