Review content:
One of the best food experiences in a long time was Louisiana's on Thursday March 22, 2007. While spending a few days at a Conference in Baltimore, we had dinner there at the recommendation of a friend. The food was so fabulous we returned to have lunch the next day only to find it serves dinner only. The escargot appetizer that I had was sumptious, baked in a perfect phyllo crust! My guest had the special which was a sweet potato soup, a perfect appetizer for the crusted catfish entree that followed. I ordered the gumbo and asked for the famous ""grits"" substitution instead of rice. Grits have never tasted so good! The atmosphere was wonderful and when our orginal seats had to be moved because we were in an area where a party room had been requested, we were moved and given a choice of a complimentary wine or dessert. The servers were personable and knowledgable, the food was first rate and trust me -- I'll be driving the 35 miles from Washington to Baltimore more often just for Louisiana's!
Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere
