Review content:
I had disks in my lower back that were out of alignment ? I had had 2 herniated disks almost 20 years ago, and chronic mild back problems since. I had been seeing an orthopaedic surgeon because of a recent flare-up, when I really twisted my back somehow. I was out of work for a couple of days, barely able to walk. I visited the surgeon, who of course recommended surgery. Because of the pain, and the inability to move, I was ready to go ahead with it. Why not? Just replace the disks with anything, as long as it would get rid of the pain.\r \r Then, on a recommendation from a friend, I visited Dr. Tsao. She had helped him recover from elbow surgery, and he thought she could help me at least get mobility back. I figured I would give it a try, what did I have to lose? I could always have the surgery if I needed it.\r \r At the first visit, Dr. Tsao said, ?I can help you. I can get your back into alignment, you won?t need surgery.? I wasn?t sure, but she had helped my friend, so I tried it. I was barely able to walk to the exam room, I had trouble laying down on the table.\r The first treatment was painful ? my muscles didn?t want to relax. But afterward, so much tension was gone, I felt so much better, just getting my upper and middle back to relax. I was excited to go back.\r \r So, after about 6 weeks, I was able to reduce the number of visits. I was walking easily again. After 8 weeks, I was walking to work every day, and I was able to dance at my friends wedding, the first of many that summer. Now I just go in for checkups. My back muscles are getting stronger and I?m able to do just about everything ? work outside in the garden, tear down walls in our new house, even help my rugby team practice!\r \r Dr. Tsao has an excellent technique, is very friendly, helpful, even fun to talk to! I highly recommend her to everyone!\r \r Will Geisler
