I'm the typical soccer mom. Three kids and no time. There's not much that my kids do that gets by me. With their busy schedules and mine, El Jibarito Music Studio makes it easy for my kids to still enjoy the gift of music. But I wouldn't just send my kids to any place. No, I had to check it out for myself first. I made an appointment to go survey the place, and was warmly greeted by Virginia, the studio's owner and a mom herself with three kids of her own. She understood my situation and schedule constraints and helped me to schedule my kids at a time that was flexible and convenient for me. After she offered me some coffee, she personally took me through the studio on a guided tour. There were windows on every door, and no locks on any of them. This made me feel very comfortable. We even got to check in on a class underway, where a five year was playing the drums better than most musicians that I know. It was cute to see the sticks flying up in there and not see who was playing. Everything was perfect, even when it came down to billing. I discussed my financial concerns with her and Virginia made it easy and delightful to arrange a payment plan. My kids could hardly wait for their first lesson and when it came, El Jibarito Music Studio did not disappoint. My kids still get excited every Tuesday to see their favorite teachers. In just two weeks, my kids were already playing songs. I was amazed at how quick their progress was and how I couldn't get them to stop practicing! El Jibarito made my job easy! To this day, I've never once had to push them to practice and I enjoy going to their yearly recitals. I can't wait for this year's upcoming Christmas recital. If you want to see talent, come and get a loud of these kids! And if you want your kids to be like mine, enroll them in El Jibarito music studio. You won't be disappointed. Take it from a soccer mom. : )
