I hesitate giving this company even one star. I have never done business with such an unethical man as the owner. During the big blizzard of 2011, he price-gouged people with his plowing services. He quoted me a price of $125 per hour for snow removal. I agreed, never having hired anyone to plow snow for a very small 2-road neighborhood before. He arrived 2-1/2 hours late, plowed for a little over 2 hours. Then he began contracting with individual homeowners to do their driveways, which was fine. About a half hour after the first little bobcat got here, 2 others arrived..I had been expecting one snow plow. When we received our bill, he billed us for $1125.00. He had never mentioned anything about a ""per vehicle"" charge, nor ""man-hour"" charge when I hired him. He did one of the neighbors 15' driveways and a small area around his business doorway and walks and charged them $350...(Even with travel time to his business it wouldn't have taken an hour from start to finish!) they almost died when he presented them with the bill. The next snow, we had a great company, TurfWorksOK come in..they did our area for a flat $375..arrived early & waited for the snow to stop. They did the 15' driveways for $35. The owner of Davis Landscaping is, in my opinion, a crook. Now he is calling and threatening me and calling me names. I would encourage anyone to stay away from this man and his company. Their business practices are unethical. If they will take advantage of a woman during a weather crisis, then harrass and threaten when she stands her ground, you know he is capable of all sorts of bad business. I urge you to do business elsewhere. I can only imagine the comments he will put here after I post. This man is NO gentleman.
