Review content:
I have been going to Tru Salon since it opened a few years ago, and I've never been disappointed. I always get great services--I've had haircuts, highlights, pedicure, facials--and I always find the staff to be professional and the environment relaxed. I've always hated those salons that are too full-of-themselves--you know the ones where you feel ""unworthy"" the minute you walk through the door? Well, Tru Salon is NOT one of those; and yet the products and services are top-notch. Owner/Stylist Julie Judge has managed to create an atmosphere that is always welcoming, always professional, but never pretentious. And all the folks that work there really seem to enjoy working there--there's always a warm and welcoming energy, and that's important to me. I guess the only down side is that the parking can be tricky during peak hours, and the place is on the small side, so there's only one private room for the aestheticians (for facials, waxing, etc.). Overall, though, I would recommend it highly.
Pros: services and skill, Aveda products, atmosphere
Cons: parking during peak hours
