Review content:
I am an out of state owner of a house in Ithaca and the owner of Broom Hilda's was aware of this. I was trying to sell the house. There was one renter in it. The real estate agent kept telling me the house was dirty. I spoke to the resident, to no avail; so I hired Broom Hilda's and paid a good price for services. 3 times and I was still having a problem. I thought the real estate agent was just being overly critical because she couldn't seem to get the house sold. I went up there and happened to be present when the cleaning crew was there - to their surprise. They were standing around smoking. The windows that I had paid to have done 2 weeks prior were dirty and had cobwebs. When I mentioned this, the worker made a disparaging remark about the ""other"" crew that handles that. The floor in the kitchen was sticky, even after the woman supposedly cleaned it. As were the counter tops. She made a comment that she did not have the proper cleaning compound to clean it so that was that. I called the owner and got a response the next day that I should have said something. WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? No I'm sorry, I'll make sure they come back and do the job properly. Nothing. I went to KMART and bought cleaning supplys and did it myself. I DO NOT recommend them.
