Review content:
I have visited this place twice and never felt the same ease & friendly gesture as observed in other Staples stores. You may keep roaming from here to there looking for certain item and no one at the store will bother to ask if you needed any help; of course you'll find the item yourself before you can find someone to help.
I visited this store a week back (12/26 or 12/27) only to use some staples coupons that I had worth $21.00. I thought of using these to buy the AA batteries that Staples had been promoting with 100% back in rewards until 12/31. Surprising, the store said the scheme was over. OVER IN ADVANCE? HOW? Anyways, I returned with a digital voice recorder which didn't mention anything about USB connectivity. The staff member who got the item for us assured that it had the same and if not; we could return it in next 15 days.
As feared, the recorder didn't have a USB port to transfer data directly to the PC. So, I went back on 01/03 to exchange the item for another one with the USB port. After much adieu I could finalise one item however, when I returned to the cash register I was surprised to see the MOD's behavior. He looked annoyed on our wish to exchange the item (WHY?) and said if it didn't mention USB port; it would not have it (shouldn't he tell that to his team?); he had the weirdest of expressions a manager could ever have. The rep on the counter apologized for the inconvenience (probably he could make out that his boss was absurd).
All in all; an unfriendly surrounding, negative vibes. Visit this staples ONLY if you want to buy something you are fully sure of; without having the want to exchange it ever.
