I love hibachi, my family and I go to Kyoto and Tokoyo II quite often and have been to other hibatchi restaurants in New York and PA. We were really excited to try Shogun. I looked up the menu and prices and it was similar to our favorite restaurants until we got there and there was an extra charge for fried rice! The soup was comparable but the salad was terrible with the bottom of the bowl filled with water from the dressing. The rice that we paid extra for was overcooked and my son did not get his. The steak and chicken were ok. There was no communication, no broccoli in the mouth, no suki in the mouth, no fun or excitement at all. The best part was when the cook actually yelled at my son to sit down!
