My family had a birthday get together for my mom at the Boston Hotel this evening. Some of our party of 8 arrived a little early, so we gathered at the bar for a couple of drinks. The bartender was quite pleasent and jovial, the atmosphere was casual and relaxed, and we were glad we arrived early. We beat the dinner rush and had our table reserved ahead of time (just to let them prepare, it's the polite thing to do). Everyone in our group tried at least a little of everything from the seafood menu. The steamed clams were cooked to perfection, as were the lobster dainties, shrimp, scallops, haddock, etc. We were all more than pleased with our meals and finished with full bellies. The portions were more than enough! Wearing our comfortable casual attire was perfect for the occasion. Even the service was fantastic! Our server gave us the proper amount of attention and had great organizational skills. As a former server, I have the expertise to say that she did a wonderful job! She was just as friendly as the bartender! My parents have been long time fans of the Boston Hotel, but this was my first time... definitely not my last! I can't wait to go there again to sample some of the other things on their great menu! EXCELLENT PLACE TO EAT! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR ANYONE WHO ENJOYS GREAT SEAFOOD FOR A REASONABLE PRICE...\r

One more thing... be kind to your servers.
Pros: Excellent food, great portions, superb service (even during dinner rush), plenty of parking, a great place for casual dining
Cons: Small restaurant (try to get there before the dinner rush)
