Review content:
This shop had come recommended to me by good friends. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience all around. I had work done on my alternator and fan belts, and sent the alternator and belts to them to use, which they agreed to before hand. The day my car was finished, they didn't call me to tell me (I had to call them). They also didn't have a total for me and asked if they could call back to let me know (I had prepaid since I am not local), which they didn't do. Upon receiving the bill, they charged me for two new belts even tho I sent two brand new ones I purchased to be used. Additionally, I had arranged to pick my car up in their parking lot after hours, and asked that the keys be locked inside the car, as I had a spare. They did NOT lock the car, and when I picked it up I had two 6-inch paint scratches on my front and rear quarter panels as well as a book of 150 cds missing. The manager, Bob, told me he would refund me on the belts, and said that he didn't know anything about the cds but they left the car unlocked. A week later, no refund, so I called back. He then said he ""found"" the belts and would send them to me (notice they couldn't call me to let me know). At this point he recanted their admission that they left the car unlocked and claimed that they did lock it and that ""someone must have come by and opened it up with a slim jim"". I have yet to receive the belts back. \r

While I may have made the mistake of prepaying and not emptying my car before having it towed there, their customer service skills are horrible and the manager seems to not know what is going on. He gave myself, my mother and my friend's father 3 completely different stories of what happened. They are not afraid to lie if they think they can get away with it, but obviously they don't even carry it off well. After speaking to a local police officer about the cds, he personally recommended Shorty's Foreign and Domestic Center.
Cons: later had to have additional work done to correct their errors, left my car unlocked with the keys in it, overcharged for services
